The firm is led by Raymond Philippe, whose background spans well over 25 years working on water in mining. Raymond spent a decade with on-the-ground process and project work, followed by ten years of commercial and technical leadership in engineering and consultancy. He founded Sustainable Mine Water Management seven years ago on that basis: a deep technical grounding in water management, combined with the experience to engage credibly at project, corporate and financial levels, in the language each requires.
Over a career spanning process operations, engineering design, project management, financial analysis and strategic advisory, Raymond has worked on assignments ranging from on-site process optimisation and effluent treatment design to large-scale desalination projects, water risk quantification for investors, due diligence, and arbitration support.
